HOW TO INSTALL THE MySQL APPLICATION

     


Why is SQL important?
SQL (Structured Query Language) is a standard database language that is used to create, maintain and retrieve relational databases. Started in the 1970s, SQL has become a very important tool in a data scientist's toolbox since it is critical in accessing, updating, inserting, manipulating and modifying data.

SQL programming is a data-based programming that aims to process data so that it becomes more organized and easier to read. But learning SQL programming also needs to put into practice the theories that are being understood. well, to practice learning SQL programming, we have to install the application first. the application is called MySQL. well, how do i install MySQL. i'll show you how 👇:

1. First step, you have to write the keywords "My SQL" at your browser.






  • after that you have to login with your oracle account and download it like an usually application download.......
then run the file
  •   select or click "Full" ,select or click "next" button, then it will appear like this

  •  click  "Execute" button then the display will change to something like below and wait until the installation is complete


  • When finished you select or click "next" button as picture below:

  •  Click "next" button again until as shown below:


  • select "Standalone MySQL Server / Classic MySQL Replication" for standard selection then select "next" button.

  • After that you will be given a choice like the image above. if you want to make your computer a Development Computer then simply click "next" button ,if you want your device to be a "Server Computer" or "Dedicated Computer" you just have to choose the table. then selecting "next" button :

  • select the one  "RECOMENDED" then click "next" button.

  • In this section you must set a password for "MySQL Root password" then add a user if any. then select or click "next" button :




  •  select "Standard System Account" for standard selection then click "next" button .

  • click "execute" for configuration.

  •  the configuration is complete :

  • click "next" button.

  • If you want to use the "InnoDB cluster" then you have a checklist. If it's not ok,just remove the checklist symbol , click "Finish" button.
  •  click "Finish" button, then click "next" button like the picture below

  •  set the Username and enter the Password that matches the root password earlier then click "next" button.

  • it will appear like this
  • click "Execute" button to start configuration.

  • click "Next>" until the installation looks like this,then click finish and your MySQL application ready to use ...
 Downloading take less time than the installing time
